New Delhi :A 21-year-old "Sumit Singh" hanged himself after a girl removed him as a "friend" on social network Facebook. Sumit from Janakpuri, New Delhi, became interested in the girl after meeting her on the website. But when he told her of his romantic feelings, she "unfriended" him from her list, said the Daily Mail. Sumit tried to contact the girl but her friends reportedly bombarded him with abusive messages and told him to leave her alone. After reading a message by sumit she replied
"Go and die", Sumit hanged himself in the bed room of his home, Cyber Times reporter said "His body was found by his 49-year-old father and his 18-year-old sister". His family said that being "unfriended" and bullied on Facebook affected him terribly.
Before killing himself, Sumit wrote a suicide note that said: "Thank you for everything that you have done for me. I hope you all make the most of your lives and cherish the people and the moments you share with them. I can't say sorry enough times for it to be the slightest bit good. But just remind when so ever you post on facebook you or messaged anyone my sole will disturb you hard as hard as possible, Sorry Father Sorry Mother Sorry My Love Sister."
His mother said that "He was very emotional and a brilliant student too, last year he got 86.56% in externals and was waiting for his results." Now Sumit's father is in ICU and fighting with his life to survive & move on, His sister is literally in shocked to see his brother's dead body.
